Orange Frosting (King’s Day Special)


Ingredients
Makes enough for 12 servings

2 tbsp So Vegan So Fine white coconut spread
100 g margarine
150 g powdered sugar
200 g vegan cream cheese
½ tsp vanilla extract
One pinch of salt
1 tbsp orange food coloring




Instructions:

  1. Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature before you begin.
  2. Measure out the necessary amounts.
  3. Place the margarine in a large bowl and whip it with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  4. Gradually add the powdered sugar to the whipped margarine, continuing to mix. Make sure the powdered sugar is fully incorporated before adding more.
  5. Add the vanilla extract and mix on low speed until well combined.
  6. Add the So Vegan So Fine white coconut spread, vegan cream cheese, orange food colouring, and a pinch of salt to the frosting and mix again briefly until fully incorporated.
  7. Taste the frosting and adjust the flavour as needed by adding more powdered sugar or vanilla extract, depending on your preference.
  8. The frosting is now ready to be used! Spread or pipe it onto cupcakes, cakes, or other pastries as desired.
