Orange Frosting (King’s Day Special)
Ingredients
Makes enough for 12 servings
2 tbsp So Vegan So Fine white coconut spread
100 g margarine
150 g powdered sugar
200 g vegan cream cheese
½ tsp vanilla extract
One pinch of salt
1 tbsp orange food coloring
Instructions:
- Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature before you begin.
- Measure out the necessary amounts.
- Place the margarine in a large bowl and whip it with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar to the whipped margarine, continuing to mix. Make sure the powdered sugar is fully incorporated before adding more.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix on low speed until well combined.
- Add the So Vegan So Fine white coconut spread, vegan cream cheese, orange food colouring, and a pinch of salt to the frosting and mix again briefly until fully incorporated.
- Taste the frosting and adjust the flavour as needed by adding more powdered sugar or vanilla extract, depending on your preference.
- The frosting is now ready to be used! Spread or pipe it onto cupcakes, cakes, or other pastries as desired.
